Today on Absolute Bassline we chose to focus on British producer Pedestrian who we discovered thanks to his collaborations with londonian duo Maribou State.

Like stated by his name, Pedestrian is a young artist who gets inspired by urban sonorities to which he usually adds intricate percussion rhythms and deep low basses.

Here he offers us a collaboration with Jasperdrum: Beatamax. The track takes its time to unfold and showcase 6 minutes of auditory subtleties. The beat is engaging and highlights the smooth vocals as well as the atmosphere around it.

A must listen of Pedestrian is this incredible mixtape he created with Maribou State for The Warehouse Project. They captured sounds of the city in order to mix them with ethnic beats and a fine selection of tracks. The construction is on point.

Aujourd'hui sur Absolute Bassline, focus sur le Britannique Pedestrian que l'on avait découvert grâce à ses diverses collaborations avec le duo Londonien Maribou State.

Pedestrian (piéton en anglais), c'est donc un jeune artiste qui s'inspire principalement des sonorités urbaines auxquelles il ajoute un travail de percussion toujours complexe de paire avec des basses résonnantes.

Ici c'est une collaboration avec un autre britannique, Jasperdrum, qu'il nous offre par le biais de Mixmag: Beatamax. Ce sont alors 6 minutes de subtilités sonores qui se dévoilent petit à petit à nos oreilles tout au long de l'écoute. Le beat, comme le suggère le titre, est le principal élément. Il est accrocheur, profond, entraînant et permet de mettre en relief autant les vocales que l'atmosphère qui se crée autour.

A écouter également, cette incroyable mixtape de Pedestrian et Maribou State pour The Warehouse Project. Ils ont capturé des bruits de la ville pour en retranscrire l'ambiance en la sublimant avec des rythmes ethniques et en les mixant avec une sélection de morceaux de choix.
