Beats fast and bass down low || Vincent & Derek
The pulsing energy of the club surrounds Derek as he strides between the twisting bodies pressing close. He tilts the beer bottle to his lips, gulping greedily as he lets his eyes caress the curves of the scantily clad females gyrating against him as he walks past. The prince licks his lips as the beer bottle draws away and he suddenly reaches out and tucks the half-full bottle into some poor bloke's hand who seemed to be having trouble drawing female attention.
"Hold the beer and they'll come to you," he shouts over the cacophony into the scrawny kid's ear before clapping his shoulder and moving on.
He's not here to drown in the sweat of erotic dances just yet. His trajectory is aimed for the back rooms. Eyes trained on his destination in the shadowed back of the club, Derek sniffs. There are things to be done. It feels as if he's been far too long without the psychoactive effects possessing his mind and body. There is no room for his chivalry or moralistic past to stand in his way. Derek Clayworth wants bury himself in base pleasures tonight.
The bass thrumming around and in him only channels his need for satisfaction. When Derek reaches the shrouded doorway, he turns back to glance at the expanse of the main floor, not in trepidation or fear of discovery--any regulars know about the drug den and turn a blind eye to it unless they're curious--but out of interest of who may get to be his plus one of the evening. Always prompt in sharing his experience with someone new to this underbelly of this world or a new face who seems pliant, Derek lets his eyes flick across absent faces until he alights on one man leaning against the bar twenty feet way from him, looking right at him.
Derek thinks he'll be a fine mate for the night and with a sharp jerk of his head toward the doorway behind him and a mischievous grin on his lips, the prince steps just inside the anteroom where the doorman is patiently waiting to take his entrance fee and allow him access to whomever is dealing on this Monday night.
"I think I have a new partner in crime with me tonight, Jackson," he says to the beanpole who Derek is fond of for his stoic silence. "Give a minute for the guy to make his way over here. It's a full house out there tonight."
