Mackenzie Boyd - Green Fingers.
Mack was excited as he rushed to the scrapyard to see Aaron.
"What you looking so pleased about" Aaron said.
"You know that allotment I applied for ages ago. Well they've said yes and I can go and pick the keys up today".
"What we waiting for then" said Aaron " Let's go."
"Wow" said Aaron "Its massive and look there's even a shed"
Aaron hugged Mack and gave him a kiss.
"Hello" a voice said. "I'm your allotment neighbour Gerry."
The two men introduced themselves to the old guy on the neighbouring plot.
"You two married then" enquired Gerry
"No" Mack answered "But we are very much in love". Aaron smiled and nodded.
"My sons getting married next month to his partner John." Said Gerry proudly. "Its going to be a big top hat and tails job. What you planning on growing" Gerry enquired.
"Well I know about crop rotation so I'll plant veg one year and flowers the next. I plan to plant seasonal veg so we will have some all year round." Said Mack proudly.
"You know your stuff then" said Gerry.
Mack beamed.
"Hark at you. You clever little so and so" mused Aaron.
"I've read up on it" said Mack who was feeling proud that his new neighbour thought he was Brill.
"Lets take a look in the shed" said Aaron. "Wow it's got a table and chairs and a settee"
"Yes and electricity" said Mack "We could bring a kettle and a camping stove to heat stuff up on and we have a water tap outside."
"When you say heat stuff up do you mean your favourite tomato soup by any chance?" teased Aaron.
Mack laughed and nodded. "Just imagine Aaron this could be our very first home together"
"I love you, you beautiful dreamer." Said Aaron who went to give Mack another kiss.
Mack held his head down. "Have I said something to upset you" asked Aaron looking worried
"No" replied Mack. "Do you realise that's the first time you've actually said you love me since we got back together."
"You're so sensitive Mack, but that's one of the reasons why I love you so much. You are just a romantic crazy fool" said Aaron giving Mack another kiss.
"Those curtains look a bit tatty. I'll have to buy new ones" Mack said.
"Did I just say you were romantic" laughed Aaron. "Come on Monty Don let's go home"
