I’ve thought about this for ages! Or an email one. But letters are much more romantic

i think so too! i love the idea of two sister primary schools deciding to start a pen pal program, which is basically how the ofc and boy meet, and they find out they have similar interests or family structures etc so the letters continue as they grow up. along the way we learn all about their lives through these letters as they navigate through friendships and break ups and grieving and schooling and work etc, though i guess the real question is do they decide to move from written letters to emails or social media and they see photos of one another. OMG imagine the first phone call or video chat! very awkward i would imagine, but now i am imagining that even if they decide to move forward with social media they would still send letters to one another. imagine a time when they argue or stop talking, but a letter got lost in the mail and eventually it shows up and it’s !! then the real question is: is it a real romance or is it just all in their head
