BEAUTY BASIC : BROWS Hi magnificent! Perfect your brows with these easy tips that I employ everyday 🙂 expose me your perfect brows by #MichellePhan so I can find and like your pic! source
Those are the real clouds in the sky today here. Like most days, my inspiration for what to write about comes from real like. So last night, I was trapped outside, in the pouring rain, with no umbrella, no hood, no nothing. For me, I don’t mind getting wet. I love the rain and it doesn’t matter much to me if my hair gets wet. BUT! That doesn’t mean I don’t care about my makeup running all over my face. As I walked into the auditorium for the concert, a cute little old lady (who was the greeter) commented on how I walked up calmly through the rain. I simply replied that I don’t mind getting wet and she smiled back. Once I was in the auditorium, I whipped out my phone to make sure that what I thought was true, in fact, was. My makeup hadn’t budged at all.
This is something I perfected through years of sleeping on my makeup so I didn’t have to do it every day, showering AFTER I did my makeup, and playing tennis in a full face of makeup. Needless to say, my makeup needed to stick and stay where I put it. This is something I want to share with all those beauty fiends who want to look fierce at all times.
Don’t use an oily or oil-based primer.
Oil creates a slippery layer between your foundation and your skin, so it’s not clinging. It’ll slide right off. Instead, skip the primer and go with fresh, clean skin.
Make sure you set everything up.
Just a couple of days ago, I told you the basics of makeup. Make sure you focus on Key 1. If you missed that post, check it out here.
On those areas where it’s MOST important to keep foundation, use cream instead of liquid.
Cream is thicker, so it takes more to blend and more to move. This helps keep it in place when it starts to get wet. I am NOT saying put cream foundation on your whole face, that’s a no go for me. BUT for example, my red cheeks, I throw cream on my upper cheek bones/undereyes (much like you would to contour), around my nostrils, and at the base of my cheeks where it’s ruddy.
Use waterproof eyeliner and mascara
In the case of water, this is the first thing to run. So use waterproof. I honestly use waterproof every day, just in case. But if you don’t like to normally, that’s fine, just do it when you’re about to get wet!
Setting Spray!!!
Love this stuff, I’ve mentioned it before, and I’ll probably mention it 7 billion more times because it’s a life saver.
Continuing on FALL topics (I’m so excited to be able to say that!) tomorrow I’ll go through cozy fall staples!
XOXO

BEAUTY BASIC: BROWS
When we talk about beauty, different topics like skin care products, oils, cosmetics and many other come to mind. One important thing that we forget or some of us don’t even know is how much of a change our brows do. Starting with 2013 the brows-game has won over the world, making girls and women go crazy over thick natural brows. A good example is (badum tsss): Cara Delevingne Even though the…
