Suki's parents, Mace and Nadja, explain to Kaison that their caravan was attacked and they found themselves separated from their baby. Taking pity on them, Kaison allows the Ackerman's to stay and recuperate for as long as they need. After all, what's a wolf without a pack? But with an unknown danger out there, the men take no chance in letting their guard down and work hard in training themselves up in case they need to defend their camp.
