1. Favourite period in history and why. 1996 forward. Because that's when I was born and I'm a joy to be around. Seriously though, mid 90's is when things started really revolutionising. Technology was upgrading, social issues were being brought up and the internet was a thing, it was basically the birth of the Information Age.
2. First phone you ever bought? The first phone I owned, my parents bought me. It was a Samsung flip phone that was basically indestructable. The first phone I bought was a Huawei something. Early model, pretty cheap, all I needed
3. What did you study in uni/what are you planning on studying? For my first year in uni, I studied Multidisciplinary Science. Basically, it's an all round subject, so I could figure out what I liked and what I wanted to do after that. I'm taking a gap year this year, to get my financials sorted, and next year, I'm headed into a Chemistry major
4. What would the first words be out of your mouth if you met your favourite celebrity? Hello, probably, it's good to be polite. But once the pleasantries were out of the way, probably some question about their work. For example, my favourite musician would probably be Alex Gaskarth. I'd ask him what it's really like to be on the road on tour with your friends, and if he had any advice for an aspiring young musician like myself
5. Favourite class in high school and why. That'd be a tie between Chemistry and Physics, 11th and 12th grade. Exactly the same people in both classes. My Physics teacher was a great guy, had plenty of those hilarious stories we all have, wasn't afraid to share. My Chemistry teacher understood that we weren't idiots, and spoke to us like we were truly equals. He was a laugh too, showing the 8th and 9th graders who were sent to our class for being in trouble how insubordinate and silly they really were. Well part of that was us too, but shush
6. If you could visit 5 places in 5 days, what would they be? Inner city Japan, California, London, someplace mountainy and European... Switzerland maybe, and Egypt.
7. Favourite type of music to listen to and why. Punk/pop-punk. It might be that I'm a teenager and fuck society and all that. But I think it's the message it carries. Green Day, Good Charlotte and All Time Low all started putting out music at 16. Simple Plan started at 20. They put out music that really expressed themselves, and I can relate to that. Plus, it's usually not too difficult, and as an amateur drummer, guitarist, bassist, and singer, I love being able to play along to my favourite songs
8. Best concert you have ever been to? (if you haven’t been to any who would you like to see?) 2013, Simple Plan. It was a concert like no other. Supporting act was Tonight Alive, it was at Challenge Stadium on December 3rd. High intensity the whole time, dancing like you wouldn't believe, loud music, awesome music, best night
9. If you had twins, a boy and girl, what would you name them? I've long held the thought that my son would be Matthew Raymond. I've never really thought about a daughter, as horrible as it sounds. I think Stephanie would be nice. Stephanie Louise.
10. If you could learn any instrument what would it be? This is my kind of question. If I want to learn an instrument, I do. I can play clarinet, guitar, bass, piano and basically all percussive instruments. I wouldn't mind learning violin or flute though. I doubt I could stick with it long enough to actually learn them, but I'd like to, one day
11. Least favourite food and why. I don't really have food that I actively dislike. I dislike fish that tastes fishy. Don't mind a bit, but dislike that intense fishy flavour. Was never too keen on tomatoes either. Something in the juice just put me off.
