This isn't necessarily what makes a good town, but I believe a good dream town allows the dreamer to interact with the town whether that be through a game the creator made up, a story, opportunities to dress up in different themed areas, etc.

Is there something you really like/think is really good, but no-one’s ever heard about it?

Japan!  I've wanted to go since I was a little girl.  Oh, and Egypt.  And Ireland.

Prized possession? Why?

Probably my promise ring.  It represents my relationship with my boyfriend and our love and faith in each other and I appreciate it even more when I'm away at school and we can't be together regularly.

Do you have a mantra or a personal code you like to live by?

I'm starting to try to live by しょうがない or "shouganai" which is a Japanese word/phrase that essentially translates to "it can't be helped."  I believe that I need to learn to let go of the little or annoying things or things I have absolutely no control over and accept that they "can't be helped."

I'm really tired (as usual at this point in the semester) so I'm not gonna tag anyone sorry!

Is there something you try to get your hands on straight away? A furniture series/shirt/song/neighbour? When I first started playing New Leaf I wanted to get my hands on the Regal set right away because it was my favorite in City Folk, but I didn't like it for my mayor's theme this time around.

Are you happy with all the new items/customisations in New Leaf, or are they too much/not enough? I'm very happy with them and I can't wait to see what they come up with in the next game!

Should more species be introduced? Which ones? Definitely!  I like the idea of bats and I'd like to see more Octopi.  It'd be cute if Leif became a daddy and his kid hung onto his chest while at the shop!

Can you remember the first hybrid you ever had? What was it? Nope! haha I was really young when I started playing ac so I don't remember too many "firsts."

Do you like where your house is? Mhm!  I love the locations of all my houses in each town.  I was dissatisfied with Tristan's so I actually moved all his stuff to the beach and deleted him so I could move it.

What should be added/taken away/brought back to/from the game? I miss morning aerobics and holidays/festivals from Japan.  I enjoyed the aerobics because it made the town feel more like a community, so having more stuff like that would be really cute.  I miss the Japanese influence in the games, but that may just be because I've always loved learning about other cultures.

Opinion of Tom Nook then and now? I never disliked him in Population Growing but I do remember teasing him and having fun walking into work in casual clothes and making him freak out.  I remember thinking he was greedy in City Folk, but I see him in a more positive light after New Leaf.

Do you feel that ACNL lacks something the other games had? (Character arcs/simplicity/etc) Definitely depth to the characters.  Everyone is just so flat now and static.  It's nice that they have little things here and there if you talk to characters at the cafe but even then there's no development.  The only characters I can think of that tell even a bit of a story are Resetti and Don, but that stops after you get their pictures.

If you were to make the next AC game, what would you do? Hand them a list of suggestions I've been accumulating since Population Growing.

Do you think you’ll always play Animal Crossing? I'd like to think so, but I know from experience that I change as a person (like everyone (what am I saying)) so who knows?  I really love Animal Crossing because it's a nice calm thing to find solace in and I have done so for the past 13 or 14 years.  So we'll see?

1. favourite villager in your town?

Chow because he's like this stupid hairless bear thing.

2. favourite part of your town?

Probably the area around the yellow bench. I have tons of photos of my sitting there because it's pretty much just instant good shot.

3. least favourite part of your town?

Right now it's probably the area in front of Mayor Angie's house. I just got rid of a bunch of the flowers there to make a path and now it's like eh.

4. in-game cafe order?

eeeh, I don't like coffee. lots of milk, lots of sugar, I don't know the difference between the beans.

5. your most recently moved-in villager/villager you would like in your town and why?

Yuka is the most recent move in by far. I'd like to have Coco because she was in all of my towns from the older games, but I guess it's just not meant to be in Maplerow.

6. is there any alterations you would like to do to your town?

MOVE THAT POLICE STATION ONE SPACE BACK AAAH I WISH I KNEW IT HAD TWO DEAD SPOTS BEFORE I PLACED IT

My town is town themed.

I don't even know what a council does so I dunno.

I have a mall, hotel and restaurant, but I'd like to have a second mall, a daycare and sci-fi castle.

It used to be Blathers in the old games, but now I can't say I really like any NPCs. Maybe Phineas.
