Putting up the collar of this blazer, Matty leant back against the the beach wall, feeling the stone dig into his back uncomfortably. Shivering slightly, he pushed his hands further into his grey trouser pockets, not turning his head at the sound of stones moving underneath someone's feet.

Biting his lip, he simply scowled, before taking his hands from his pockets and chafing them together, the frost biting, yet in a way he didn't much care. Not at all, really. He preferred the cold to the heat, anyway.

"Can I help you?" he murmured after a moment, still not glancing up.
