the problem with all of the live action spider-man movies is that they fail to understand that the draw of the source material/comics is the soap opera (ppl who disagree with this either havent read the good stuff or dont realize that subconsciously this is what they come back for) and the only good way to adapt soap opera is through serialised television rather than a 2 hour film.
