not enough fic writers are taking into account that scott said tf!scott IS closeted. not was. IS!!!!
sooo many fics of him being all good and dandy and having feelings for ft!pyro instead of the insane fear of rejection, and the fear of lack of belonging that most likely steams from internal insecurities. not enough explorations of his closest friendships being mostly women and non-male individuals, and why that might be. or about how his attachment and sense of betrayal at pyro leaving could be for another reason besides friendship, YES, but then there's the guilt because he doesnt get to be selfish, he's never supposed to be.
