Curious If you'd write a fic with pope where Reader is a super shy girl and warns up to pope:)

pope and shy!reader would be almost PAINFULLY awkward i think /pos
like..he doesn't talk, and he's a little scary and A Lot intimidating and reader can't handle it. can't stand the forced eye contact because it makes her face HOT and her breathing a little funny :((
and pope!! pope is so much better at hiding it? you'd think he wouldn't be but oh my GOD he cannot get reader out of his head.
she's just so pretty :(( and sweet :(( and she talks to softly :( and she's nervous (which makes his stomach hurt a little bit because he latched on like a dog with a bone and he would never EVER dream of hurting her) and he has this weird, deep rooted need to make her more comfortable around him.
so a sort of dance ensues, a 'will-they won't-they' of sorts, where reader and pope circle eachother for weeks and then something happens(i'm picturing a rom com moment where they both end up leaned in like they might kiss but they DON'T) and then they're back at square one because it overwhelmed the both of them and they're kind of awful at communicating with eachother (he doesn't know how, she doesn't want to overstep or make him uncomfortable)
but then she starts warming up to him, and he's lost his footing a little bit because like. those little smiles reader gives him are making HIS breathing a little funny now, because she doesn't look at any of his family like that. that smiles just for him. and then she starts sitting closer, or leaning into him when he stands next to her, and it's HIS turn to get a little shy.
just..yeah...pope and shy!reader...
