Ok, so i finished Tangled in its entirety and cried my eyes out the end of the series when Eugene proposed to Rapunzel and how again, the Healing encantion had save not only Eugene again, but Cass and everyone else who she loved and cared for. It was a beautiful ending to my favorite Disney series that started with the movie. (I'm ready for that Varian spin off now, come on Disney Plus!), but I want to say I love the humor of how Lance stresses everyone out, especially Varian and Eugene. The monkey scene had me rolling just because it was because Lance was misbehaving again and how it effected everyone else. The whole comment of Eugene saying "let us never speak of this again" was gold. Because only those eight will ever know that it happened.
So I'm about seven episodes done from finishing Tangled the series (or Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure) and I love how close Raps and Varian are now. Like they needed that whole conversation when they were locked in the same cell in the beginning of season 3. It was a healing moment for them and it aired out all the bad memories between them. And Varian seeing that Rapunzel kept her promise about saving his dad and her including him in alot of her activities shows how much she wants him around. And in 'Cassandra's Revenge' when Varian tried to stop Cass from destroying the painting of Rapunzel and the lanterns was him trying to stop Cass from destroying Rapunzel's memory with her hate. I love how they both grew to trust each other and it's beautiful.
Also, the whole thing with Varian trying to stop Cass from breaking the painting is a wonderful acknowledgement to Rapunzel's dream of seeing lanterns and how Mother Gothel also tried to destroy that dream in Rapunzel. All of the motion came to play was because of Rapunzel wanting to see the lanterns in person, and her dream is what lead the whole events of the movie and the series into place and I'm so there for it.
So I just wanted to say that while season two of Tangled was my least favorite (it was still great I just love 1 and 3 more) the best part of the whole season was the introduction of Hector and Adira. Especially Hector. He was a badass and creepy "villian" at the time. #tangled
