A quick #meettheartist doodle. I've celebrated my 30th birthday back in February. When I was younger I absolutely resented the idea of turning 30 as if it was the death of my youth. However upon my birthday I welcomed it with open arms, relieved that I moved pass vanity and insecurity to embrace a more thoughtful and wise approach to life. I was a girl who fretted over pleasing people and trying to make everyone else happy without regards to my own well being. I know better now to take care of myself first and not worry about who thinks what of me because they are only passing blips in the greater scheme of things. Life is too short to be unhappy and happiness is always within my reach. As a woman I will learn a little more each day and embrace every opportunity that comes before me. I will love a little more, myself and those around me.
