Beekeeping Camp was so fun (and she actually learned a few things!) that she already begged me to sign her up for next year.
The instructor collected the honey and the kids strained it and filled up the cutest honey bears.
They made pretzels, lemonade, and ice cream with honey.
They made the best-smelling beeswax and honey candles (Fallie's was the biggest!)
They got to bring home a basil plant. The honey bees love basil flowers and Fallie picked the plant with the most flowers on it.
The barely-tame gardens have a creek running through the property and the kids got to explore everywhere.
Fallie found a family of five chipmunks to watch.
Fallie caught a fish with a net.
She got to use matches to burn pine straw in the smokers on the first day!
Probably her favorite thing was having honey bees lick honey off her fingers. Have you ever seen a honey bee tongue? So cute!
