The way I see things, it’s not that Tubbo no longer cares about Tommy, his efforts to keep Tommy around and as free from harm as he legally can proves Tubbo still cares about him. However, Tubbo also isn’t willing to sacrifice the safety of the country and people he promised to protect when he was sworn into office.

This isn’t a corruption arc, this is Tubbo trying to balance his personal relationships with his political life and keep everyone safe while trying to hold onto everything he cares about, one of those things being Tommy. Y’all are just angst gremlins who won’t let up have nice things.

Looks like we’re starting off the New Year with unexpected car repairs (as they usually are), so guess who’s opening commissions soon!?

I want Fundy and George to commit to being the bad guys with Schlatt. Somebody has to be the bad guy, and at the moment it looks like on the day of the inevitable siege of Manberg, everyone will turn a blind eye to it and just. Let Tommy and Wilbur take it back. And that doesn’t make for a satisfying story. We need treachery, blatant evil doing, actual villains! Not all this “I’m being bad to stay on Schlatt’s good side but secretly I’m good” stuff. That’s what spy Tubbo is for.

Plus George and Dream ending up on opposing sides of a war would be some excellent, much needed drama and betrayal from the Dream SMP side of things. That is assuming George would actually muster up the energy to have a personality for more than five seconds though. Why did he get involved at all?

Could we maybe not call every man who’s soft with his friends gay? Can we stop doing that? And could men who are soft with their friends stop calling themselves gay for it? Men can be kind and sweet and wholesome without being queer in some way. Soft masculinity doesn’t make you gay, and I think we all need to realize that.

Yes, I’m calling out everyone with this including the Dream Team, no way none of them have some kind of internalized homophobia. I, an out and proud lesbian, have internalized homophobia that I’m trying to work through. Good people are not immune to having unjust prejudices. Good people are not immune to negative biases. Having biases and prejudices does not make you any less good, it just means you’ve got some things to work on. Anyway, thanks for coming to my TED Talk.

Imagine that the first thing you ever learned about Dream, your very first impression before you had any opinions about him, was the tweet about him pissing the bed in his sleep. Imagine that was the first thing you knew about him, and then later found out that same guy is a big name, heavily influential youtuber with, at the time, 6.5 million subscribers.

Tommy please don’t build another tower. Please, add layers to Pogtopia instead, carve out homes in the walls, add plants and grass and shit. Make a river at the bottom of the ravine. Build a war room in the second ravine. Make Pogtopia pretty instead. Everyone is intimidated by a beautiful build. Please just don’t make another tower it’s all you do.
