Let's pretend I know nothing. (I already know the answer to this but I am asking anyways) Is it true that beekeepers don't hurt the beehive when they harvest honey? And, in truth, harvesting honey can positively impact a beehive?

Anyway, bee keepers do not hurt the hive when collecting honey, unless it's the old hive style

But with modern beehives you can simply remove a frame for honey and then place it back, giving them a new frame to work with that already has wax in it
As long as beekeepers don't take too much honey, it doesn't affect the hive. I don't know if it exactly positively impacts the hive but it doesn't negatively impact them if you do it right

While 60 pounds is correct for most areas, some areas only need 30 pounds to survive. They produce much more then that, and as such, we can take some so they survive
Bad comparison, it's more like rent they pay to have a great, safe area to live in. And they aren't overworked, how would you even overwork bees
you know how many bees are in a hive? Tens of THOUSANDS. that's tens of thousand of teaspoons. If there's 80,000 teaspoons fo honey in a hive, that's more then 60 pounds, you can take some. Also, say it with me now, MALE BEES DO JACK FUCKING SHIT. THE ONLY THING THEY CONTIBUTE IS MORE BABIES AND THEN THEY GET YEETED OUT OF THE HIVE

People are so wrapped up in the "honeybees pollinate=good so bad without them" mentality that they don't realize honeybees out compete native pollinators for resources and spread disease to native bees. Our local beekeeper couldn't put up honeybees in our area this year and the change was IMMEDIATE.
In our lilacs where there was usually a castrophony of humming caused by the bees covering every available surface of these flowers, there was a beautiful array of diverse insects. I saw more beetles, flies, wasps, and butterflies than I had in previous years. I even saw a boom in a population of native bees!
I recognize bees do good too, but you can't be acting like wasps are the root of all evil because they sting ('cause bees do too, buddy).

Like bees will just keep working until their last little bee breath because that's literally what they are made to do and they don't complain or care or long for something different? Stop picketing for the rights of bees who "don't want their honey stolen" Bees keep making honey until there is no room and then half of the hive swarms in order to find a new hive which increases the risk of bee disease to them and other pollinators like butterflies and wasps.
While we're at it, leave wasps the fuck alone. Those angry little fuckers are just as important as bees and if they see you as a threat to their safety it's because you are even if you don't fucking realize it. Wasps and Sharks, y'all act like Satan pissed them out specifically to spite you.

Im probably gonna be attacked for this but I’m tired of not speaking up. Women are horrible. We are. I’m a women and I’ll admit to that. I’m not saying that all the women that have come out and said someone raped them are wrong I’m also not saying the guys are right. I’m tired of all the people bashing other people for just someone saying it. I’m bringing this up now because this morning Ed Westwick was accused. And everyone who follows me on here knows how much I adore this man and would love to meet him. Once again I’m not saying he didn’t do it nor am I saying he did. No one knows for sure but every comment I have read this morning is of people (mostly women) already bashing him and saying “of course he did he’s Chuck Bass” He’s not Chuck Bass. He’s Ed Westwick and Chuck Bass was a character he played. If he did do it I will be very sad but until then I’m not gonna stop being his fan because of an accusation. I'm not saying he didn’t do it and I’m not saying he did. I just wish women and men would just take in all the facts before pointing them and bashing them. I know there are rape victims who have never spoken up because their scared too. I also know their are women who have used rape to get money.
