bee-shidi sure has a lot of wacky adventures for a stuffed toy! He travels a lot! Gets buried in dirt! Goes swimming in lakes, rivers, washtubs, etc. Snuggles all sorts of people. Watches plays. Does education with xiao-yu.

Bee-shidi may or may not have cultivated a spirit of his own by the time Xiao-Yu passes him on to Lan Mifeng. 🥹

xiao yu loving bee shidi as a child and then grows up to discover that bees absolutely ADORE him, he could walk through a swarm of bees unscathed to everyone's mild horror. he goes on to raising bees as a hobby hehe

Eventually, Xiao-Yu realizes that his bees are also fond of Bee-shidi. 😊

Xiao Yu and bee Shidi tea party!

After the tea party, Bee-shidi has to take a long soak in the laundry tub. He's covered in strawberry jam from the pie Xiao-Yu ate, and he has tea spots all over his little face ;-;

Yu Min misses xiao-yu lots when he goes to Gusu with wwx? yzh ends up making him a bee-shidi of his own to keep him company.

Yu Min is very fond of water beetles, so he ends up with a Beetle-shidi instead. Every now and then, Xiao-Yu receives a letter addressed "to Shixiong, from Beetle-shidi," with instructions to read it out loud to Bee-shidi. 🥺

xiao-yu is helping minghui practice his gege skills with bee-shidi? minghui is practicing proper baby-holding with bee-shidi, and how to wrap up babies with bee-shidi, and so on. Bee-shidi is a very helpful training tool for geges.

Bee-shidi is exactly the size of a newborn, so he's a good practice baby. <3

Bakery bee Bee-Shidi has his own little flannel plaid jacket, and his own little plaid hat and scarf (all in baby-chosen different colors/patterns). bee-shidi is a bit of an eyesore all done up for the cold weather, but he's warm and toasty!!

He's hanging out with Lan-bao in the display window! Passersby are so surprised by the sight of a baby baguette on display with a bee plush wearing a gingham dress (as opposed to pastries) that they have to go in to find out what's going on--and to try some tasty sweet treats. 😉
