It’s hilarious and wonderful and charming seeing some else’s journey of realizing just how unhinged these two are about each other - and you’ve inspired me to do a rewatch myself! oh yay!! i won't lie, i've skipped ahead in places - like i'm watching season 8 as well, as it airs, but it's such a good show and i wanted to see all of it from beginning to end and wow is it ever worth it. i started out just watching some buddie scenes but i'm so glad i'm now watching it properly (even though it's a lot of episodes), it's been so good so far and i am enjoying it immensely. i love everyone on this show so much. cannot wait for what this and next season bring <3 thank you for the sweet ask!!

I have no words to express my delight with this episode!!!! WE’RE SO CLOSE IT IS HAPPENING!!! (But i also cannot get over the Tommy of it all, how he’s back to calling Buck ‘Evan’, and in the bar he called Eddie ‘Diaz’?! The Eddie who was all “do people call you Diaz?” “Not if they want me to respond” my god did he do the name thing to Eddie too??)

For the record I think Tommy did that just as a symptom of his jealousy - so if he did call Eddie that it would only be once or twice. It might even have been subconscious, to create distance with Eddie in his mind.

The Tommy of it all was fucking hysterical to me, a delight, I was dying the whole time, truly THEE funniest way they could've done this to us. I had a blast.

Oh no, I'm so sorry! Is this about your TOG Anastasia AU? If it helps, I just saw the notification for posting on my email, sped over immediately to read it and I LOVED the first chapter (and left a comment)! Please don't let anything stop you, you're a phenomenal writer with SO MANY amazing ideas (I've loved all your TOG your stories), and I'm incredibly excited to see how this story develops. In the meantime, sending you all the hugs and appreciation <3

It’s about a few of my ideas that my brain latches onto and just loves and then just don’t quite get the same traction (and I mean plain hits/eyeballs, not even kudos). I absolutely am going to keep going, I just need to learn to temper my expectations when it comes to some of those ideas that I just really adore.

I had never heard of this, and am amused. Aptly named, much like the War of Jenkins’ Ear, which--sadly--was part of an actual very long war, and not a (mostly) bloodless dispute.

But it’s also sad, because they’re in the US, then, Sebastien (who, only ninety years old, refuses to Anglicize his name, fuck the Brits and Americans both) and Andrew and Joseph and Nate, and Andy hears about it and thinks, “Oh fuck, which of them shot the goddamned pig? It was probably Nico, wasn’t it, and then Quynh -”

Oh. No. She looks across the camp, and there is Nicolo, dismantling his rifle, and Yusuf sketching pictures with the contraband children, and Sebastien walking toward them, laden with what passes for food.

There is Nicolo, without her--all of them without her, three centuries of loss, Sebastien who has met her only in dreams. There’s Nicolo, without shadow or blade, who could not have started the war.
