Random sad Skyward Sword headcanon:

Beedle's Loftwing died some time ago.

To cope, he built a flying shop that allows him to get around the many Sky Islands without a bird, but even then he's still a bit of a recluse. It's why he flies out to a distant island to sleep at night; he still feels like half of what he used to be. And given that his "salesman voice" is so different from his true, relaxed voice, he's still trying to find what it means to be "himself" again.

And if you want more angst, his island could be where his Loftwing died and/or was buried ok ok I'll see myself out

Wanted to make a timely repost but I never posted it on tumblr? what? the prime place for silly art like that? this thing is 2 years old D : *checks other places* I posted it ONLY on -now dead- amino D : (people who know me from other places should scream at me for not posting silly stuf~~) ahm... it was a piece for a giant collab, I don't think I saved the thing. it was glorious also this is my "never ship anything as a joke" it's no longer a joke and I'm so alone ;3; (also yes, I used the game models as references bc fffff... I can't draw them and had so little time and personal art has no rules as long as I don't burn the word with ai~~)
