Year 2. Day 79.
Wow, that last daily draw sure turned out kind of prophetic, didn't it?
I'm not going to bore you with all of the details, but: I had to go to the hospital. I ended up spending more time there than I wanted to. Everything was fine in the end. But the hospital stay and the recovery afterward gave me just enough time to fall completely out of love with the project.
And the project... when we get down to it, this isn't a labor of love, really. it's a labor of... well, labor. I'm here drawing every day not because I think I'm that great at it, or because I really love doing it. I'm here because I'm not great and because I don't love doing it sometimes.
I'm here to prove to you, yes you specifically, that you can do something new. If you think I suck... well, now you know how low the bar can be for your creative attempts. If you think I'm doing okay... it's because I've been doing this every day I can, for more than a year, and you can go through my archives to see just how little I started with.
It doesn't have to be good, it just has to be done.
So with that out of the way, what's today's draw? Why, it's a Minnesota Beedril, of course. A recent episode of Mom Can't Cook, one of my favorite podcasts, did a recap of the Disney Channel Original Movie Double Teamed, and (for reasons that make sense if you listen) the Patreon shoutouts at the end were assigning their supporters to Pokemon-themed WNBA teams. One of which was the mighty Minnesota Beedrils.
So... I like Pokemon. I like Minnesota. And it's time to get back on track. Done and done. Your long-absent Inky returns, and he offers you a Beedril.
Beedrill!
How do I get rid of a beedrill hive? My farigiraf is too scared to go outside and absol won't stop picking fights with them wich leads do him getting stung and needing to go to a pokecenter!
This is definitely a job for the rangers. Though a hand raised beedril is a surprisingly intelligent and docile pokemon, a wild hive is a serious threat and needs to be relocated. Keep your pokemon in their pokeballs and contact a ranger as soon as possible.
so it turns out that if you have really bad internet you can see the internal names of pogo's quests you have
and. it was called megabee lmao
