Recipe: http://cakewhiz.com/spicy-beef-stir-fry-recipe-one-pan/
This 30-minute Mongolian Beef Stir-Fry is a quick and flavorful dish that combines tender slices of beef with a savory and slightly sweet sauce. It's perfect for a weeknight dinner when you're short on time but still craving a delicious homemade meal.
Ingredients: 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced. 1/4 cup cornstarch. 3 tablespoons vegetable oil. 1/2 teaspoon ginger, minced. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce. 1/2 cup water. 1/2 cup brown sugar. 1/2 cup green onions, chopped. 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional. Steamed rice, for serving.
Instructions: Coat the flank steak slices thoroughly in cornstarch by tossing them in a bowl. In a big skillet or wok, heat up two tablespoons of vegetable oil on high heat. Stir-fry the coated steak slices for two to three minutes, or until browned. Take out and place aside from the skillet. Add the final tablespoon of vegetable oil to the same skillet. Add the minced garlic and ginger, and cook for one minute, or until fragrant. Add the brown sugar, water, and soy sauce. Simmer after stirring to blend flavors. Once the steak has been cooked to your preference, return it to the skillet and simmer it for two to three minutes. This will thicken the sauce. If desired, add red pepper flakes and chopped green onions. Over steamed rice, serve hot. Savor your homemade stir-fried Mongolian beef!

Tender beef slices, a savory and sweet sauce, crisp veggies, and fragrant ginger come together in this flavorful and speedy stir-fry of beef and veggies. You can alter it by adding your preferred vegetables, and it's ideal for a weeknight meal.
Ingredients: 1 lb 450g beef sirloin, thinly sliced. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 2 tablespoons honey. 1 tablespoon rice vinegar. 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. 1 red bell pepper, sliced. 1 green bell pepper, sliced. 1 cup broccoli florets. 1 carrot, thinly sliced. 1/2 cup snap peas. Salt and pepper to taste. Sesame seeds for garnish optional. Cooked rice for serving.
Instructions: Mix the rice vinegar, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ginger in a bowl. To make the sauce, stir thoroughly. Add a little salt and pepper to a different bowl and add the thinly sliced beef to it. After covering the steak with half of the sauce, let it marinate for about fifteen minutes. In a big skillet or wok, heat up one tablespoon of vegetable oil on high heat. Stir-fry the marinated beef for two to three minutes, or until it becomes browned. After taking the steak out of the skillet, set it aside. Add one more tablespoon of vegetable oil to the same skillet. Add the carrot, snap peas, broccoli florets, and sliced bell peppers. Stir-fry the vegetables for four to five minutes, or until they are crisp-tender. Add the cooked beef and vegetables back to the skillet. Stir-fry everything for a further two to three minutes, making sure the veggies and beef are well-coated in the remaining sauce. Over cooked rice, serve the hot honey ginger beef and vegetable stir-fry. If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Savor your tasty stir-fried beef and vegetables with honey and ginger!
