Trusting your instincts should be given more credit. Our brain recognizes patterns and warns us when it thinks there’s danger, and it’s usually right. I’m glad you trust yourself, took me a long time to do that. ❤️❤️❤️
Yes yes! I very much agree. I think the main problem for many people, and sometimes for me, too, is that other people are so eager to push you to give an explanation _they_ find acceptable. That’s often hard to do, esp. when the person demanding ‘real’ reasons has something emotionally or psychologically invested in the person you’re objecting to. It’s also frustrating when it sometimes takes YEARS for the objectionable person to act in a way that’s clearly objectionable.
But it’s so great when they finally do and I can dance around exulting in my rightness. :) Also, ever since I started saying things about physiognomy really seriously -- and I am serious, because I really do make judgements that way and they are pretty much never wrong -- people have stopped asking me to explain myself. Maybe b/c they think I’m nuts, but whatever -- the important part is that they leave me in peace w/my snappily formed hatreds & dislikes.
