I actually haven't even fully fleshed it out. It's just something I know I want to write, but never sat down and got the details figured out. I wanted to incorporate elements of it into the post apoc AU (just so some part of it gets written out, l o l) but I had to keep telling myself, "lol stop, you're putting too many things in that au and erryone's gonna get confused, stupid face."
But out of the post apoc AU, it was supposed to have Ned be a detective or a cop or something and Petyr initially working in the crime lab. Petyr's a serial killer and eventually gets discovered and goes on the run and Ned's assigned to the case. All the while, Petyr's trying to turn him into a killer too, but Ned's too honorable or something and so Petyr ends up killing him after telling him his daughter would make a better apprentice anyways. Sansa (who would have to be older in this AU and is in the same line of work as her father) takes over the case (but really, Petyr arranged this) and Petyr tries turning her into a killer and he succeeds. But before she develops a taste for blood, she's just trying to track Petyr down and eventually realizes there's a connection between the deaths (even though he told her sometimes you have to do things without reason to cause chaos and to not leave a trail / get caught) and discovers some greater crime committed by Petyr's victims. (And it turns out he planned getting caught and going on the run.)
He's going to do things (and manipulate the media) that'll cause the public to question the reliability of the chief of police and ultimately force a reformation of sorts under new management.
Erm. So. That was long, but that's what's been sitting in my head. A good enough replacement for a fic?
