been working on certain little things in my anthro au (anthro au goes for any media characters that ive made into an animals) specifically the bullet train one. thinking about if it was a manners thing for predators to not show their canines/fangs, im sure i'll figure smth out for prey animals but the assassins are mainly predators.
for example in the scene where lemon & tangerine talk to the newly awoken son, the twins be polite (for the most part) and not talk profusely with their canines (for them it'd be easier to use them in speech but its a societal thing) up until the son asks about the codenames and tangerine snaps and starts yelling.
especially with lemon and tangerines accents, it'd be a little bit easier for them not to use their canines in speech since cockney accents rely heavier on the front teeth. (using "f" sounds for "th"/primarily,, ex. "wiv/with" and also "de/the")
of course with their tempers it'd be a struggle not to end up subconsciously using their canines anyway, even if their speech didn't require it.
ladybug's accent is sort of a country twang/l.a. mumble mouth thing so he never uses his canines much anyway ,, reminder; tangerine: jaguar , lemon: brown bear, ladybug: european badger, maria/beetle: hare
