What are some huge fucking bees in Maryland? I saw a huge fucking bee just a-flying across a crosswalk in front of my roommate's car yesterday, and couldn't ID it. It looked like a giagantic bumblebee and seemed completely non hostile to those on the sidewalk.

Sunflowers

Despite the summer heat, this has been a good year for sunflowers. I tried to grow some exotic colors but the seeds that did the best we’re the Mammoth ones that I purchased at the Dollar Tree.

Moving Day

This morning we moved the bee from a 5 frame to an 8 frame box.

Small Hive

This has been a challenging time. Went to visit a hive today and found less than 20 bees.

Other visit photos

The recent rains has not helped this hive and I may have to pickup a new package. Thus, one of the plights of modern beekeeping is the constant cycle of issues.
