Foul-weather flights

As I reported in an earlier blog, Friday, with its chilly bluster, was a day for  indoor activities, one of which, on HH, is experimental refreshment.

Our new friends took us to the Island Winery, where we each chose six different wines to sample. Then we went to the Hilton Head Brewing Co., where we each sampled a flight of four beers.

We also considered sampling flights of whiskey at the Hilton Head Distillery, but ultimately decided we had done enough flying for one afternoon.

Instead, we went to dinner at Mi Tierra, where we shared a pitcher of margaritas.
