Pizza Port’s The Fish IPA on tap at Beerfish in San Diego. A 4 of 4. Simply, a great lighter-bodied IPA. Mostly tropical and citrus notes in the nose and smells juicy. Drinks with some citrus pith-like bitterness up front and juicy, fruity sweetness behind it. Finishes dry and quite astringent. The complexity on this in both the nose and body is pretty phenomenal.

North Park Beer’s Hop Fu IPA on tap at Beerfish in San Diego. A 3 of 4. A good citrusy and tropical hop profile in the nose, and some slightly resinous qualities. The body is firmly bitter and a bit resinous, and this finishes dry with quite a bit of lingering bitterness. Pretty aggressive, and quite refreshing.
