Sipped @fortgeorgebeer City of Dreams in the City of Sin. Went to my mom's house for Easter dinner and brought the City of Dreams along. It was 5.5% which was nice as I had to work that night. I finally made it to @riverwalkbrewing to see the new space and get growlettes filled. The production space was huge in comparison to the old space with room to grow. The tap room had a modern homey feel. I knew I was getting the Turbine DIPA. It was their interpretation of the NE IPA. It was really good! Flavors of pineapple and grapefruit with a slight bitter finish. For my second growlette, I went with the Golden Axe Helles. It had flavors of biscuit, slightly sweet malt, and a floral finish. Went to Austin for work and figured my dinner had to be some bbq. I ended up at Green Mesquite. I had the 3 meat combo with smoked wings, brisket, and sausage. I added fries and hush puppies as my sides. So good! Nice spice in the wings and sausage. The brisket was tender. The hush puppies were some of the best I've ever had! I had a Twisted X Brewing Chupahopra IPA. There were flavors of grapefruit and pine. It had a bitter finish. It was good! #bbq #beergood #AustinTX #GreenMesquite (at Green Mesquite)
@baxterbrewing has put out Bootleg Fireworks every summer for four years. This summer, I either missed it at my local LQs or they didn't have it. So like a typical #Masshole, I had to cross state lines to find some Fireworks. Finally, picked up a 4 pack at The City in #Seabrook. BF packs a punch with flavors of tangerine, grapefruit, and a hint of stone fruit. Some alcohol burn and bitterness in the finish. So good! #sweetcarolinevoice #beergood #HowIBaxter
