Solid timing by @mortalisbrewing whom just released 'From Hawaii with Love' a golden stout with real Kona coffee, coconut and pineapple. Golden stouts are fairly new to the beer scene and this is the second one from Mortalis I've had that knocked it out of the park. Coconut is a ingredient with beer that can often be used too much, sometimes turning your beer into a grand dessert instead. This is not the case here, and the coconut hits your moments after and is the perfect summer stout. All I am missing is the sand underneath my toes. 🏖️ Until we meet again, Mortalis!
