But really, K and I spent a glorious day on Saturday in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY. We even exchanged prizes! I brought her pickled peaches and lemon vodka. She gave me some sort of syrupy cherries! AND, together, we made beet syrup for wine or champagne. THEN, you GUYS!!! She gave me the best thing in the world, it is a jar fashioned after a to go drink cup. I can't even tell you how much I love it.
