Am I the only one who has realized this about Showtime (Pomni x Caine)
Caine is an AI. He doesn't understand what it's like to love like a person does. He may try to copy signs of affection he has seen along the years (Kinger and Queenie, Zooble and Gangle, and so on), but it won't be genuine cause he literally can't feel like Pomni could
(Ep. 8 spoilers) Like this literally came up from that one comic where Pomni tries to apologize to Caine for killing him, but he says he has never been alive in the first place
Honestly this leads to lots of angst I never thought were possible
