ok, so after the events of the musical, beej realizes how horrible he was,
like, he’s a demon; he doesn’t exactly have human morals,
but after he’s alive & stuff, he begins to try and make up for his actions.
it’s a shocking change of character tbh.
but they all forgive him for it, for the most part, because he’s learning & growing from it.
adam and beej are boyfriends, you can’t change my mind.
barbara has tried to be with beej, even when adam is with them, but she just isn’t attracted to him.
one day, barbara, delia, and lydia are having a girls night. they’re all doing face masks & lydia’s talking about her crush, when they hear some, ahem, noise from the attic.
both women reach to lydia to cover her ears.
they realize that they’re basically holding hands & barbara blushes.
she’s never been with a girl before, but...
the next day, lydia asks when barbara is going to ask delia out on a date.
the kid just knows, i swear.
but barbara doesn’t get to ask delia out, because delia asks her out first.
“uh... this is a date, right?” barbara asks.
“i was hoping it is.”
charles does get a little jealous, but delia’s able to reassure him.
and one day, charles is watching the great british bake off, and beej just comes up and asks if they can cuddle.
charles is just like, “yeah.”
beej is big spoon, hugging on the taller man’s body.
adam walks up a little while later, and makes beej the middle spoon.
they all fall asleep like that.
it’s so cute!
delia took a picture of them like that, and it’s her lock screen, much to charles’ embarrassment.
charles always thought he was straight, but beej is just something else.
in conclusion; barbara & adam are married, adam & beej are dating, barbara & delia are dating, delia & charles are married, and charles & beej are, well, it’s complicated.
& they’re all a loving and supporting family for each other <3
some of these ideas have been sloshing around in my head for a while and i needed to get them out.
