I'D LOVE TO TALK ABOUT BREDELE 🥺🥺🥺

Bredele is Agender and uses Any Pronouns, but mostly sticks to They/He/Zem. He's also asexual and androromantic. :]

Bredele was originally made as a replacement for Langue in a timeline where the lawyer wasn't born. Dele became a famous doctor, much like how Langue became a famous lawyer. :] Here's an unfinished writing that I may work on more related to that.

In most timelines though, Bredele and Langue are siblings!! They're mildly jealous of each other. Dele wants Chat's confidence, and Chat wants Dele's likability- it's with this jealousy that Langue will lie to Dele about things sometimes, but he's too trusting to realize that the lawyer is lying.

Bredele doesn't like Dasani Water specifically because Langue told them it's the unhealthiest type of bottled water you can have.

Bredele HATES Dr. Bones because of how that skeleton runs their clinic. With how they proclaim patients have diseases that don't exist to get them to act how they want to... He really wonders how the hell they got their license and how it hasn't been revoked yet...

He has a high tolerance for blood and gore, being a doctor and all. This also means he talks about gruesome subjects with the friendliness of talking about cats. Langue cannot handle these discussions with how weak of a stomach they have.

Zey are great with kids!! Although when it comes to family gatherings, zey're a literal punching bag. Sometimes zey'll have to dip into the bathroom to calm down from the overstimulation of being around so many people... But also because the kids beat him up with whatever gifts they get. Hard plastic dolls, stuffed animals, toy guns... They're getting whacked and battered one way or another.

He doesn't practice magic, so all of his healing is done through actual surgical/physical means. He does know a bit of mending magic, though rarely uses it since you're not supposed to use mending for things that require healing, as much as Langue lied to them about that...

HELP you have no idea what you're unleashing by prompting my rambling!!!! /Silly

This got kinda long so I'll put it under a Read More for the sake of everyone that winds up looking at this. :]

Okay so. Turnabout Identity has Bredele De Cassonade Cookie accidentally killing his sibling Langue de Chat Cookie with mending magic because of a lie that Langue told him. That mending magic can be used for healing purposes. This goes horribly wrong and Langue winds up dying in the forest after an accident on a nature walk, with Bredele going through this whole mental arc by himself where he basically convinces himself that HE is actually Langue and that DELE was the one that died. In this instance, we like to call Dele "Languele" because it's a combination of both Bredele and Langue!!

Now, we flip this on its head. Instead of Dele killing Langue, Langue kills Dele!! In what manner? Good question!! It could be the nature walk where Dele gets injured and Langue makes it worse because they're absolutely not used to performing medical treatments on people. Bonus if Dele is trying to give them advice and they're just Refusing to listen out of their own ego (and panic).

And now it's LANGUE convincing themself that they're Bredele. This instance is called "Cassochat", a combination of Cassonade and Chat. (Thank you to my pal Almond for figuring out these names btw.)

Now what's interesting about THIS is that while Languele is a lot more empathetic and lax about his differences between the real Langue and him because he subconsciously understands that's how trauma operates, Cassochat... Keeps their perfectionism. And when it comes to "forgetting" everything medically, there's this intense frustration of not being able to remember.

They'll spend so much time trying to "relearn" everything, getting frustrated at themself. And with the weak stomach that Langue has, despite the days of trying to learn what they think they should already know by being "Bredele", all that is thrown out the window when they actually go to treat a patient. Particularly with surgery, where their weak stomach and disgust towards anything bloody or gorey comes back to haunt them. Dele is able to withstand so much horrific sights, but Cassochat? Absolutely not. Another doctor is forced to substitute for Cassochat's duties due to this, and it makes them feel so much WORSE because they're supposed to be an EXPERT, so WHY did they forget? WHY is such a sight so upsetting to them? Back to the books for days on end, it seems...

Langue casually ruining Dele's career... Even if by accident. Then again, Dele does the same when he tries to replace the other. They can't be each other no matter how hard they try. </3
