for me scaridarity is not fully about them doesn't know what they feel and what the other feel. i'll talk about my au where scar is on empires till the end bc it's canon to me, thank you.

for me scaridarity is more about... finding comfort with each other, finding feeling home when you're all alone on the server you don't belong to, when everyone is against you, feeling found.

jimmy feels abandoned bc of every partner he had, every server he's been, his allies never lasts long and everyone starts to bully him. he feels he's never enough, too dumb, too clingy, too himself. would they love him if he was just like scott or grian?

scar's heart started feeling lonely when after an amaizing season 1 of life series he spent whole last life alone, trying his best making friends ("i was making bound with mumbo, we hade some great time... he left for 5 fish.") but everyone used him and leave him alone (like joel and grian, taking each life from scar and leave, taking his stuff and leave). in the double life he feels this abandoned more, his soulmate bake cookies, bread for another person. and when he was just... left on empires without any chance to go home?? it's painful. a lot.

for me scar and jimmy are not about being clueless about each others love. for me scar and jimmy are about being scared to tell about their love, becoming closer with the thought "if only you know... you'd leave me", but they are opening to each other when scar tells that he can leave if he's too annoying for jimmy

they are about holding hands and fight for each other with others, about being special one to another. about doing their best to cure themselves and their silly guy from this. jimmy learning that he can be loved while being himself, scar learning that home is where you feel comfortable. they are feeling found ♡♡
