Your photos are absolutely incredible. I just have a couple of questions. What tips could an aspiring photographer like me use? I want to be a photographer. I'm 22 and hope to go to college soon for a degree. And another question is, I know you don't HAVE to have a camera to take good photos (all I have now is my phone after my camera was stolen), but for when I get another camera, what are some good lenses and filters I might use? Thanks, if you answer. :D
Thanks!
Sorry to hear your camera was stolen. You definitely don't need spend a ton of money on an camera to take good photos. I'm probably the wrong person to ask photography tips from. I never had any formal training for photography whatsoever. Everything I've learned was all self taught, and I'm still learning everyday.
In regard to your question about lenses and filters, It's difficult to answer that without knowing what type of camera you decide on purchasing.
Not a confession, but to the admin who only saw Labyrinth last year, don't feel bad in the least. I just saw it a few days ago. And I love it. I don't know the last movie I could watch every bit of it and keep entertained. Usually, I skip to a part I like and watch from there. But this movie is amazing. Being such a huge fan of The Dark Crystal and watching it, literally, all my life, it's amazing I hadn't seen Labyrinth sooner.
just call me Lia. ;D
sometimes i feel like such a newcomer in this fandom, because so many people have literally grown up with it, it makes me feel slightly intimidated lol. but thank you! :)
you're completely right! it's so rare to find a decent movie that keeps you engaged for the entire thing, and Labyrinth is probably one of the closest in my opinion. like you, i wish that it had been in my life earlier. i think i would've had a much different view on it if i saw it when i was 8 as compared to 18.
EDIT: I'm one of the other mods (Jess) and I'm with both of you. I only watched Labyrinth for the first time...oh last December. I wish I had a chance to see it when I was younger as well, but I'm glad I can enjoy it now. I don't know if I'd feel the way I do about it at 21 if I'd been watching it since I was 6.
Also it's not when you watched it! It's the commitment to it! (I tell myself as I read my millionth fanfic and claw at my face with ~feelings over this film.)
