Weaving together a slew of soft, breezy textures, Before the Glow, the debut album from Columbus, Ohio’s Fine Animal sparkles, shuffles and whips around you. The trio (vocalist/keyboardist Lucy Oaks, drummer KC Wilder, and guitarist/vocalist Kelan Gilbert) boldly explores the limits of electronic expression, taking cues from Air, Bonobo and St. Vincent.
