Columbus, OH trio Fine Animal is dropping their new album, ‘Before the Glow’, on June 16th. We have the album stream for you to check out before its release.
Weaving together a slew of soft, breezy textures, Before the Glow, the debut album from Columbus, Ohio’s Fine Animal sparkles, shuffles and whips around you. The trio (vocalist/keyboardist Lucy Oaks, drummer KC Wilder, and guitarist/vocalist Kelan Gilbert) boldly explores the limits of electronic expression, taking cues from Air, Bonobo and St. Vincent. Fine Animal - Linger (Cranberries Cover)
A new take on an old classic, The Cranberries’ gets the cover treatment across the Atlantic from the American Midwest. Stemming from Columbus, Ohio, electopop trio Fine Animal put a breathy electropop rendition of “Linger” adding a cavernous, metallic-pan-like ring to the already established track. While it’s certainly satisfying for a band to receive satisfaction from you and I, Cranberries member Noel Hogan personally wrote back to the band how much he loved the track.
