Who Are We? In my ever-voracious quest to know more about Venture Capital, I stumbled upon Michael Moritz’s LinkedIn profile. Michael is the chairman of Sequoia Capital, one of the most successful VC firms. Michael has been on the board of amazing companies like LinkedIn, PayPal & Google. An interesting thing to note is that he has a MA in History from Oxford. What does MA in History have to do with being a successful VC? This simple revelation is yet another proof that busts the myth of needing a MBA to become a successful VC. Conclusion: You define the degrees, the degrees don’t define you.
