2018. For someone with anxiety, thinking about all the stuff I have to and want to do can easily leave me overwhelmed, and actually almost always ends in me not doing any of those things, which, of course, makes me feel absolutely worthless…
So when my friend introduced me to the concept of the reverse bucket list, for which you look BACK at everything you’ve actually accomplished and are very proud of, it actually enabled me to SEE [with only a bit of panicking about all the things I didn’t do] the value I did in fact add to my 2017!
2017.
“done” - move out of my student building
“done” - move into a nice apartment [with the most beautiful view ever!]
“done” - buy a piano
“done” - start piano lessons
“done” - get a new tattoo
“done” - get another new tattoo
“done” - connect with my feelings
“done” - distance myself from bad vibes
“done” - get new opportunities at work
“done” - reconnect with and focus on myself
“done” - finish the coolest PS4 video games
“done” - meet awesome new people
“done” - get gayer
“done” - survive 2017
