Being Scottish;

I found this brief really difficult as I had absolutely no idea what to shoot for it as I do not really not what Being Scottish is. I left this brief to this last minute so therefore felt as if I was rushed and could’ve done better. I decided to take landscapes to show off the Scottish landscapes but I unfortunately didn’t have enough time to go to the locations I wanted to go to as the weather was horrible and I ran out of time so I therefore had to go to nearby locations near me but I think these worked out not too bad. Above are the four final image I chose as I think they were the best four from the ones I took. I like how in the last image I managed to capture the different weather as you can see it looks quite cloudy and gloomy but also the sun was setting and the sky was blue and I think this works quite well in showing the Scottish weather and interpreting the brief ‘Being Scottish’. Also in the first image you can see the greenery and the sheep in the fields which I also feel is quite Scottish and the same with the second image. Finally the third image is showing a windmill as Scotland are known for having the largest windmill farms so I feel like this worked well and having the sunset in the image gives it a warm feeling. I am not as happy as I wanted to be with these images but for future I will know to plan ahead and check the weather rather than leaving things to the last minute as planning I feel is the ultimate key to success sometimes.
