This isn't even in the city where the blast happened, it's in a valley outside. They shouldn't say a blast hit Beirut, they should say the blast hit the whole damn country because no one was spared. No one.

Hi everyone,

After the Beirut explosion on August 4 2020, my boyfriend's house was completely destroyed. If you wanna read more about happened, click here, there's a post about it . 

Lots of people all over the world have shown solidarity and donated to lebanese charities, and lots of countries have promised to help, but our president is refusing help from some countries.

My boyfriend literally lost everything. He is a 21 year old college student, with tuition to pay for next year, and he is currently thinking of dropping out. He was living with his parents and grandmother before the blast. Two of his aunts also live in the Beirut area and were really affected by the explosion. My boyfriend has injuries on his legs, and his grandmother's spine broke, because they were at their apartment when the explosion happened. His family and him are currently living with relatives, away from Beirut, but they need to rebuild their home. My friends and I cleaned up what was left of the apartment, but there isn't much left... the doors and windows were destroyed, none of the furniture survived.

It's practically impossible to withdraw money from the banks right now because of the economic crisis, and the local currency has lost all of its value.

Since we don't have paypal here in Lebanon, my sister who lives in france set up a paypal account for my boyfriend and his family.

It would mean so much if you could donate, or if you can't, you could at least reblog this post. Maybe someone who can donate will see it, so please don't like this post but reblog it, we really need your help.
