“The Manabolo River in Madagascar, has several caves on its limestone banks. When we visited one of these caves I noticed the unique texture of the entrance ceiling, which almost looked like a reflection of the sand floor. I stood there trying to capture these textures when one of the canoe drivers inattentively placed himself in the middle of the scene, posing for me completely unnoticed. I took advantage of the moment and added the elegant figure of the man to the stone and sand textures, with the boats and the river in the background.”

Día 01: de Antananarivo a Antsirabe

Madagascar es justo lo que venía buscando… el choque, lo diferente, lo auténtico… Pero llegué tan cansada y desubicada… que ni me había parado a pensar que sería tan duro.

Fue un exceso.

Después de 27 horas de viaje la llegada a un nuevo país siempre es difícil. Más si es una capital. Más si es otro continente. Y más si ese continente es África.

Día 05 y 06: Bekopaka

Se acabó el hablar con frases entrecortadas y emociones contenidas. 

Pasaron muchas cosas desde el día que escribo y sobre el cuál escribo. Semeja pasar demasiado entre aquella yo y esta yo. Pero aunque no sé cuánto de interesante será lo que salga en las próximas líneas, sí quiero retratar, para mi cronología y recuerdo, las mayores emociones posibles.
