“Being very busy person, this leader of world Bektashi community still finds time for meeting ordinary people, between his travels in the region of Albania, Macedonia and Kosovo, where most of Bektashi live ( apart from Turkey, which is slightly different story ) Those meetings usually have form of friendly chat, accompanied by ever present candies. When outsiders enquire about Bektashi faith, Baba Mondi usually gives his speech about tolerance, about being brothers with other faiths, and about what happens when religion corrupts into business.”
