DAVE chuckled, offering Klaus a small shrug. “It’s no big deal.” He assured him. “You seemed really tired. I thought you could use some rest.” He smiled at him good naturedly, his fingers drumming against his own thigh. “Did you know you talk in your sleep?” He asked, mostly teasing him. “Nothing coherent, but you make little noises and say random words.” He informed him with a grin.

DAVE nodded slowly, reaching towards Klaus and wrapping his arms around him. “I’ve got you.” He murmured in assurance. “I’m right here.” He pressed a kiss to his head and rubbed his back in small circles. He relished in the closeness he felt to Klaus, enjoyed being next to him. He just hoped he could make him feel a little bit better.
