Dan Reynolds going from being a Mormon missionary who told people that being gay was a sin to organizing a huge effort to make sure that LGBTQ+ people felt loved is proof that we can make a change. I’m so glad that my twelve-year-old self fell in love with this band because it gave me such a great person to look up to. There’s still a long way to go but it’s so heartening to see how LoveLoud has helped so many people. It may not affect me directly and I know he’s never going to see this but I want to say thank you, Dan, for what you are doing for all these people. Love is love.
