Yal is a worm who goes around studying, experiencing and partaking in all religions to achieve a form of enlightenment. If you were to ask about who or what he believes in, his answer would be 'life itself'. However, he'll always hold a personal prayer o belief for the worm god of hope and rebirth. Life it'self in ouroboros and Yal finds he can believe in that.

I've been seeing ads for belif for the past year and decided to look into it. As someone who has far too many serums at the moment, I really wanted to focus on moisturizers and cleansers. As per usual, my favourite product was one that isn't really discussed! What products from belif have you tried?!

Skin Care:

Cosrx Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser

I’ve recommended this cleanser many times on my blog, so this should be no surprise. I’ve gotten back into using it recently. I often go between aggressive and gentle methods of exfoliation. Right now, I’m favoring the gentler side of things (like my muslin cloths and Foreo Luna Mini 2) and my skin is responding well. This cleanser is perfect for that! I use it a few times a week, max, and I’ve been loving it! 

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5

This is also a product I’ve mentioned my love of before! Simple, rich hydration that is very affordable. My skin loves this.

Belif Moisturizing and Firming Eye Cream

You can tell pretty quickly when you run into a good eye cream. This is a good eye cream. My eye area can get very dry and sensitive. This does a great job at moisturizing without irritation or being too heavy. The texture is super silky, too. I can’t speak to any anti-aging effects, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it for that purpose anyway.

Leaders Daily Wonders Bye Bye to Dry Sheet Mask

As it seems to be a theme, this mask also works with my goal of deeply hydrating my skin. Nothing overly fancy here, just a perfectly formulated sheet mask. It has a good fit, adheres well to the skin, it’s soaked with essence, it has some nice plant extracts thrown in, and its stellar at plumping up the skin. Leaders makes some killer sheet masks and this is no exception.

Makeup:

Kevyn Aucoin The Volume Mascara

I reeeally like this mascara. I can’t ask for more. It gives length, curl, volume, it doesn’t flake or smear, stays put all day, separates lashes, and comes off with ease. It’s definitely more on the natural side of glam lashes (I’d recommend the Benefit They’re Real! mascara for a full falsies look), but the results are gorgeous.

Body:

REN Moroccan Rose Otto Body Wash

This was definitely a splurge purchase for me, but REN was having a sale so I said YOLO and bought it. I’ve heard endless recommendations for this body wash and I’m so glad I chose to try it myself. It’s softening, gentle, and it smells amazing. It’s not exactly moisturizing, but it has the same feeling as a good low-pH facial cleanser. Totally non-stripping. 😍
