God / Religion / Salvation WHAT?

Last night when I come home from work, I was stressed by some bullshit work problems and my mom wanted to talk about the church, religion and stuff. Let's face the true: I'm not a religious person but I respect all kinds of belive. My mom is the total oposite. She started to talk about how I needed religion in my life, how her religion could save me. But.. a) Why save me? What I did wrong? I'm 22 almost 23, I did some shit in life but I don't belive that God will judge me or punish me because of it! I'm young and I'm learning everyday. People eventully make mistakes in there lifes, but if you need religion to be a nicer, gentle and good for other person YOU’RE NOT A NICE PERSON. b) I read the bible like a old book, I know it's sounds wrong to say like this but it is what it is. When a I was reading, some thing came to my mind and never got out: 2000 years ago, people was trying to talk about love and respect above all the things. 2000 years later “religious people” use this words sometimes to prevent and stop someone from having their own experiences in life. And it’s wrong, because sometimes a way to live a life can’t work for me, but can work for you and THAT'S OK because it's your life and you should decide what to do. c) "But if people decide to do what they want the world will become a disaster!" Like I say it before, if you need religion to do good things and respect someone you're definitely a shitty person who hides in religion to feel better but guess what? You will never feel better because the gospel will keep saying about be true to your heart and God I you're not. I don't know if I'm just being delusional but in my point of view God is a nice person. Like that friend that you don't see in a while and when you guys see each other the friendship is the same and you guys laugh and if you need a advice he will give you... Sometimes think about this gives me head ache, but I needed to get it out of my chest.
