Bell's Tropical Hopslam Double IPA (Thanks, Michael!). A 3 of 4. Tastes much like Hopslam, just with a bit more pineapple and some stone fruit. Still quite a bit of sweetness to balance the relatively aggressive bitterness well, and a body that feels just slightly soft on the palate. This is quite good, but I think I probably prefer the original.

And We’re Back.

We spent ten days on the east coast and I only drank like ten beers. Sarah’s parents leave just outside D.C., home to a small, but growing beer scene. But we spent most of the trip far from the major population centers, where people order Bud Light in restaurants. Did you know people actually pay four bucks for the pleasure of drinking bottled Bud Light? 

That’s how I ended up drinking Bell’s Beer brewed in Michigan all the way in Virginia.

Mars is a double IPA originally brewed as part of a planetary series of beers, based on the music of Gustav Holst. The Bringer of War clocks in at just over ten percent alcohol. Hearty Munich malt gives Mars a chewy, round body. But the malt is far tastier than the hops. The usual blend of tropical citrus juices are nice, but not especially noteworthy. It’s a good beer, well made.

it's so weird being in the sanders sides fandom for 5 years without a new character being introduced because like. i LITERALLY cannot imagine thomas playing another side, can't inagine ANY outfit or design or personality or anything. because anything feels too off or fanon.

it's been FIVE YEARS with just our six little goobers!!!!! imagining a new one, or imagining how s2 is gonna end (oh god w h e n) is damn weird.

my point is. when orange is introduced i think we're all gonna shit ourselves
