Patricio Pitbull defends title against Emmanuel Sanchez via UD

Another great fight in the bank for Patricio Pitbull as he defends his title. Great performance from both sides. Sanchez fought his ass off and looked good in stretches. Had some fantastic kicks to the body. Just got edged out by Pitbull.

Upset Alert: Vadim Nemkov takes a split decision over Phil Davis

The Russian LHW prospect is a prospect no more as he topples former Bellator LHW champion Phil Davis. A very competitive bout, Davis actually looked fine in the fight. In fact, this is some of the most comfortable I’ve seen him on the feet. That might have been his downfall, however, as Nemkov got the better of the majority of exchanges on the feet. Even managed to suplex Davis at the end of the 2nd. Davis went to the wrestling in the later half of the 3rd and fought for a couple of submissions. Had he gone there earlier, there’s a good chance he would have won the fight.

Nemkov just beat a top 5-6 light heavyweight. That’s a big ass deal.

Olga Rubin takes UD over Cindy Dandois

Scratch what I said about Keresh’s win, this is the biggest win in Israeli MMA history.

For all her obvious faults, Dandois has found ways to win fights at featherweight and put together a solid resume in the process. Rubin came in and just refused to fall into Dandois’ traps. She out kickboxed Dandois on the feet, almost knocking her out in the 2nd round. And on the ground, she refused to get caught in the head scarf by Dandois. Rubin got on top and smothered Dandois while scoring from top. Excited about Rubin’s prospects in this division: tall, athletic, and seems to be educated.

Good night for featherweight. Rubin emerges as a potential star in the division for Bellator and Felicia Spencer has a shot to win the Invicta FC featherweight champion later tonight.

Adam Keresh KOs Baby Fedor in the 1st to open Bellator 209

Again, Bellator 209 was yesterday so spoilers are out there.

Adam Keresh survives getting slammed by Kiril, gets up and proceeds to land a head kick that starts the beginning of the end for Kirill Sidelnikov.

Gonna go ahead and call this the biggest win in Israeli MMA history.
